Process For Estate Planning

At Jorgensen, Brownell & Pepin, our attorneys have developed an efficient and detailed process to help you create a secure and stable plan for your future. Our firm generally charges a flat fee for services including drafting your will, living will, trust, medical power of attorney, and financial power of attorney. If your case involves significant estate tax issues, additional costs may be charged. Our attorneys will schedule an initial meeting with you to review your estate planning including tax implications, beneficiaries, executors, trustees, named beneficiaries and power of attorney issues. After the initial meeting, we will provide you with documents to review, read, and make necessary changes. A final meeting will be scheduled to perform a final signing ceremony of the documents. The estate planning attorneys at Jorgensen, Brownell & Pepin, will help you define and clarify your estate planning goals, determine the exact value of your estate, advise you about making a will or a living trust, and help you coordinate your life insurance, retirement accounts, and other kinds of estate planning assets with the rest of your plan.
