When a creditor obtains a judgment entitling it to money owed by the debtor, the creditor has a variety of legal options to enforce the judgment. Liens may attach to real property, garnishments as described above can be issued, and in some situations, writs of execution directing the sheriff to seize and sell the debtor's property is an effective collection alternative.
At Jorgensen, Brownell & Pepin our attorneys work aggressively to obtain a judgment in our client's favor, and they continue to support you through the collection process. |
