Do You Offer A Free Consultation?Yes. We offer a half-hour free, initial consultation. We can do this over the phone, or we can set a time to meet at one of our two conveniently located offices in Longmont or Greeley.

Do I Need An Attorney, Or Can I Do This Myself? If you are looking at this website, the answer is almost certainly – YES – you need our help. What Is A “Retainer”?A retainer is an advance on attorney fees and costs that you may be required to deposit with us when you enter into a fee agreement for representation by our firm. The amount of the retainer will vary based on the type of case and the number of issues involved.
How Much Will My Case Cost?While all cases vary, and your total cost will vary depend on the number of issues and how contested your case will be. There are two major components of the total costs of your case – attorney fees and costs. Attorney fees can vary based on the experience and level of expertise of the attorney representing you in your case. Our hourly rates are comparable and competitive with other attorneys in the area. The conduct of the opposing party is a large component of the total fees and costs that you would encounter.
How Often Will I Get A Bill?We send bills out to our clients monthly, on the first workday of the following month. Your bill is a summary of all work performed by attorneys and support staff (who bill hourly) and of all costs associated with our work on your case.
What Is The Best Way To Get A Hold Of My Attorney?When you retain one of our attorneys, you’ll meet with him or her directly. He or she will go over your goals and options in detail. You’ll have email addresses and phone numbers to contact your attorney directly. You’ll know the attorney’s paralegal’s name and email address. We pride ourselves on the level of access that we provide to our clients.
How Soon Will I Get A Call Back?We try to return client calls and emails within twenty-four hours. While the practice of law can be extremely busy, we know how much your case means to you. Between our numerous attorneys, we have hundreds of active cases. We work hard to never forget that your case is the single most important case among them.
Do I Get My Original Documents & My File Back When My Case Is Done?Once we close your file, you can have the contents, other than our internal notes and work product. Anything that has been filed in your case by either side, or any original documents provided by you, are yours to take with you. |
