Anne Jorgensen presented the beneficiary of a contested will who had been removed as personal representative of estate prior to our representation. Dissatisfied with his two prior attorneys, our client retained the firm and Anne was successful in removal of his sister as personal representative (executor), and obtained appointment of a neutral third party. As a result of Anne's diligent efforts, the family farm, oil and gas interests, and the income from those interests were all restored to our client's ownership or control. Opposing counsel appealed two separate issues from the lower court to the Colorado Court of Appeals and to the Colorado Supreme Court. Anne prevailed on all appellate issues. Gerald Jorgensen then pursued proceeds of a fraudulent conveyance, through collection of tangible assets, to insure satisfaction of judgment. |
