| In another recent case, Matthew Crowther successfully defended a builder who had been sued by an insurance company. The insurance company alleged that the builder had negligently installed a stair banister—resulting in personal injury to its insured. The testimony Matthew elicited at trial established that the insured's negligent maintenance of her home resulted in her injuries, not his client's banister installation. Matthew's client avoided all liability. |
