Gerald L. Jorgensen founded what is now Jorgensen, Motycka & Lewis, and P.C. 20 years ago. Gerald provides aggressive representation in a variety of commercial, construction, land use, and other civil matters.

Gerald has lived in the Longmont and Boulder area since the 1960's. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Colorado.

Gerald became an Industrial Bank Manager, at a national finance company in Fort Collins at the age of 24. He then became a CEO of a chain of Colorado stereo and record retail stores for nine years.

Gerald returned to school and earned his law degree from the University of Denver.

Gerald L. Jorgensen is licensed to practice law before all Colorado State Courts, United States District Court for The District of Colorado, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska. He is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association, Boulder County Bar Association and the Weld County Bar Association. Gerald has served as the past Chairman of the Longmont Downtown Development Board and past President of three Homeowner's Associations. Gerald has been a licensed Colorado Real Estate Employing Broker since 1986.

Gerald is a recognized leader in Colorado Construction and Mechanic's Lien Law. He devotes the majority of his time litigating complex cases involving Real Estate Development and Construction.

For the last five years Gerald has also taken time to lecture at Colorado Bar Association classes designed for attorneys, Real Estate Brokers and Construction Industry professionals.

Gerald has the skills to properly manage complex litigation, involving multiple parties and unique issues of law.
